DeafBlind Bay Area Community Potluck
About This Event
Bi-monthly potluck celebrating the DeafBlind community with tactile activities
๐ Full Details
The DeafBlind Bay Area Community Potluck is a warm, inclusive gathering held every other month at accessible community centers around the East Bay. Attendees share homemade dishes while connecting through tactile ASL, pro-tactile communication, and close-range signing. Each potluck features a themed activity โ past events have included tactile art workshops, accessible board games, and cooking demonstrations with tactile instruction. Support Service Providers (SSPs) are welcome and encouraged. The event is organized by DeafBlind community leaders and funded by local grants, so attendance is always free.
