Empowering Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth through leadership camps, mentorship, and advocacy

About NorCal Deaf Youth Alliance

The NorCal Deaf Youth Alliance (NDYA) provides leadership development, mentorship, and enrichment programs for Deaf and Hard of Hearing young people ages 10-21 across Northern California. Our flagship program is the annual summer leadership camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where teens build confidence, explore Deaf identity, and develop self-advocacy skills in an all-ASL environment. NDYA also runs an after-school mentorship program pairing Deaf high schoolers with Deaf college students and professionals, a college prep workshop series, and a youth advisory board that gives teens a voice in organizational decisions.
