Bay Area Deaf Coffee Chat

Bay Area Deaf Coffee Chat is a beloved weekly tradition where Deaf, Hard of Hearing, CODAs, and ASL learners gather at a local coffee shop for conversation, connection, and community. Each week the venue rotates among cafes in San Francisco, Oakland, and the South Bay so everyone gets a turn close to home. No agenda, no admission — just show up, order your favorite drink, and sign. Regulars range from Gallaudet alumni to parents learning ASL for their children. The relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect place to practice fingerspelling, swap event recommendations, or simply catch up with friends.
